Removal of the Betterment Tax Notation from Property Records
The notation may only be removed after a final decision is issued by the Expropriation Committee providing for one of the following:
- A determination that no tax is due, or payment of the tax where it is due.
- Payment of a deposit on account of the tax, determined upon the proposal of the Head of the Betterment Tax Department and with the approval of the Revenue Directorate (Article 50, as amended by Article 55 of the 2001 Budget Law).
